Dr. Jean AlcéMedical Director

Born in Haiti, Dr. Alcé studied medicine at the National Autonomus University of Mexico City, followed by an internship in Montreal before pursuing his medical career which began as Unit Chief at Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn, New York. After moving to Detroit, he was assigned Director of Adult In-Patient Services at the Detroit Psychiatric Institute; chaired the Department of Psychiatry at St. John Detroit Riverview Hospital; and held a position as psychiatric consultant at Detroit Wayne Mental Health Authority through May 2015. Until 2008, Dr. Alcé had a small private practice in Detroit and Farmington Hills.

Dr. Alcé currently holds faculty appointments at Wayne State University and Michigan State University as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry.
